- Turn the water off at the toby, usually in a small box near your front boundary.
- Switch the hot water cylinder off at the switchboard.
- Move anything precious, catch the drips, and take a few photos for insurance.

Murray Ainslie started out on his own in 1996 with one van and a lot of patience. His daughter Kate did her apprenticeship with him, came home after a few years in Dunedin, and now runs the gas and drainage side. There are eight of us now, and we still look after every home as if our own family lived there.

Our workshop is in Winton, right in the middle of Southland, so most places are less than an hour away. There's no travel charge inside 50 km, and a small fixed travel fee beyond that, which we tell you when you book.

50 to 100 km, small travel fee
Bluff, Mossburn, Wyndham, Te Anau and Manapouri. Stewart Island and Fiordland jobs by arrangement.
